The Seaventures House Reef is a macro-paradise. A lift lowers you from the platform into the warm waters. Scores of batfish swim near the surface to feed. At the 5-meter safety stop line of Sea Ventures you’ll find schools of silvery barracuda. Further down you’ll see the metal pillars, and the hand-built recycled artificial reefs constructed by the dive team. There are swim-throughs, great for testing your buoyancy skills. Bright coral and stretches of sand and rubble, and all sorts of fascinating macro wonders wherever you look.
Hot and cold drinks are available any time of day. Seaventures is known Mabul island-wide for offering the best food in the area. They offer western cuisine, Chinese food, and local dishes as well, all available in a most appetizing buffet.
As evening sets, there’s no better place to relax after a dive but the sun deck. Here, on one of the highest points around Mabul, you’ve got a perfect view of Borneo’s coastline and the setting sun, well-protected from mosquitoes and the stifling heat. You can sit back and relax with a cool drink, the warm breeze bringing with it enticing scents from the BBQ and music from our famous in-house Sea Gypsy Band on the main deck.
There’s also a camera room available so you have plenty of room to take care of your gear before and after each dive.
